PegaSys Protocol Engineering – January 2020 Update

We’re already over a month into 2020 and the year has certainly started off with a bang! We’ve already announced a new product release and are gearing up for the 1.4 release of Hyperledger Besu as well. Read on to find out what else we’ve been up to so far.

Last week, the PegaSys team proudly announced the addition of a new product to our suite: PegaSys Orchestrate.  PegaSys Orchestrate is a platform that enables building secure and reliable Ethereum powered applications with ease. Orchestrate is the result of the experience PegaSys has gathered building production-grade blockchain platforms with enterprises from diverse industries, including capital markets, supply chain, and trade finance.

As part of its 1.4 release (set for February 26), Hyperledger Besu will expose a Plugin API. This API will allow anyone to write custom plugins for Besu, and leverages the work that the PegaSys team has done developing PegaSys Plus, a premium version of Besu packaged with several plugins tailored to running an Ethereum network in production.

We recently held a webinar on the topic and it is now available on-demand. Sign up here to gain access to the recording. Spoiler: the webinar also includes the details of our Bounty on Plugin APIs for ETHDenver!
